Kiami Davael is an American actress. She was born on August 21, 1986, in the state of Kentucky.

She is probably most famous for her role as Lavender Brown in the popular children's fantasy film Matilda. She also appeared in the 2020 movie Bruno. Kiami has also produced several theatre productions throughout the years.


Life before fame:

Kiami was a natural when it came to acting, and she was already performing in front of her parents and friends when she was as young as seven years old. Kiami went on to take singing and dancing lessons when she was a child. Alongside that, she also made her professional acting debut at only ten years of age in 1996.


One year after her appearance in Matilda Kiami also played Simone Bien Aime in an episode of The Pretender. 

In 1998 Kiami also had a small role as a Keeta in the television series Conan the Adventurer. She also guest-starred on the popular television series Promised Land as Lucy. Kiami also had a small role in an episode of the UPN sitcom Moesha in 1999, where she played Anna. 

She also had some minor roles in The Steve Harvey Show, as well as In the House and Grown Ups.


Davaelalso starred in the hit comedy film Bruno (Directed by Shirley MacLaine), which marked her first appearance in a theatrical movie since her acting debut in 1996.


After her brief career as an actress, Kiami also went on to attend the University of Kentucky, which she proudly graduated from in 2008 with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has currently moved to Burbank, California.

Kiami has had the privilege of producing and directing several unique theater productions, where she has also taught acting lessons to aspiring new actors. Kiami has also stated that she is a devoted Christian. She also wrote her first movie "Reckless" in 2012.

Kiami Davael is good friends with fellow actress Mara Wilson, and the two often spend time together and go on various trips when they have some time off.



She is also associated with the author of the book Matilda, on which the film she starred was based on. 

The talented actress bears a remarkable similarity with Celeste Cruz from Daphne and Celeste. 


Her private life and relationship status:

Although Kiami has had a few boyfriends over the years, it has recently been pretty quiet when it comes to any new information about her love life. It is currently unknown whether Kiami is seeing someone as she has stated in previous interviews that she likes to keep her private life away from the public eye, which is understandable in this day of age.
