Diletta Leotta is an Italian TV presenter and journalist. She was born on August 16, 1991, in Catania, Italy.

She is most famous for being a weather reporter on Sky 24, after which she went on to become the sports reporter for Sky Sports.

Her initial rise to fame:

Diletta Leotta first got her chance to be a presenter at the age of 14 when she hosted the Antenna Sicilia in 2009. 

She later became the presenter for the sports program Salsatampa for the Sunday Sport Siciliana.


Life before fame:

The talented journalist was born and raised in Sicily, Italy. And despite all of her accomplishments, she still chose to study law at the famous Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome which she graduated with stellar grades in 2015, after she had graduated from the middle school that she attended in her local town.

Diletta was also talented enough to finish as a pre-finalist for the National Miss Italy talent show in 2009. She was also voted as the TV face of the year by La Gazette hello Sport in 2015.


Her other associations include starring in an acting role alongside fellow Italian actress Donatella Finocchiaro in the 2009 film Lost Kisses, which also marked her debut in acting.

Diletta Leotta's full name is Giulia Diletta Leotta, and she is currently the presenter for Seria A's broadcasts for DAZN since the 2018 season up until this day. Earlier on, she presented Serie B games on Sky Sport (Italy) together with Luca Marchegiani and Gianluca Di Marzio. From April until the end of august of 2018, Leotta worked alongside Aída Yéspica as the host of "105 Take Away", a radio program for Radio 105 Network. In 2018 Diletta also hosted the Miss Italia 2018 edition alongside Francesco Facchinetti, which aired on La7 and was won by Carlotta Maggiorana. Some of her most recent work includes being the co-presenter for the 70th annual edition of the Sanremo Music Festival (2020). 


Her social media presence:

Diletta Leotta is quite active on her social media accounts, and she is one of the biggest stars on Instagram when it comes to followers. If we take the top influencers from Italy, then Diletta is easily in the top 5 most popular profile categories. She has managed to garner almost 8 million followers (currently sitting at 7.9 million), which makes her Instagram account one of the biggest in the world. 

She is quite active on Twitter and Facebook as well and tends to share snippets of her daily life, as well as posting various selfies with her friends and family. 

She is quite a down-to-earth person and has a good personality which is likely why her fanbase is becoming increasingly larger by the day. It is expected that she will pass the 8 million follower mark on Instagram by the end of 2021.

Currently, Diletta has chosen to stay private regarding whether she is dating someone, but as far as we can tell, she is single or tightly keeping her lover a secret from the public.
